RADIESSE

Radiesse is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA). Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) forms the unique cornerstone of RADIESSE®.  Metabolized naturally and completely biodegradable, the CaHA microspheres are suspended in a gel ideal for injection, with RADIESSE® Lidocaine having added lidocaine for your patients’ comfort. Far beyond volumizing, discover the triple effect of RADIESSE®.

Radiesse offers a unique triple effect

  • Vertical lifting
  • Defining Contours
  • Stimulating natural collagen production

TIME TURNS THE SKIN OFF RADIESSE®

Loss of fibroblast activity is a key event in skin aging. The progressive fragmentation of collagen fibers deprives dermal fibroblasts of activation cues and downregulates synthesis of the skin’s essential components. RADIESSE® ENHANCES STRUCTURAL SUPPORT OF THE DERMAL MICROENVIRONMENT – REACTIVATING FIBROBLASTS AND SUPPORTING REGENERATION.

TURNS THE SKIN BACK ON

The unique composition of RADIESSE® mimics the collagen scaffolding of the skin to reactivate dermal fibroblasts. Switching the fibroblasts to an “on” state, RADIESSE® triggers neocollagenesis and – elastogenesis, promoting skin repair from within.

With the stimulation of collagen’s natural production, skin improvement results goes beyond the treatment.

RADIESSE® demonstrates higher levels of viscosity and elasticity compared to HA-based fillers, giving it the strength to stay where you put it and deliver more lift with less volume for optimal results.

  • DEFINING HIGH VISCOSITY

Stays where you put it – without spreading to surrounding tissues. Resists shearing forces within the tissues, or muscle movements. What you see is what you get.

  • DEFINING HIGH ELASTICITY

Resists forces it encounters regularly, such as gravity and skin laxity. Provides greater lift to the overlying tissue. Less volume achieves the desired results

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the procedure involve?
  • Radiesse is gently injected into the skin, usually in small amounts, with a very fine needle. Radiesse Lidocaine is usually injected under the skin in the middle and lower face. One treatment session typically lasts around 30minutes.

Has Radiesse been tested and certified?
  • In 2003, Radiesse achieved CE certification, the European Union standard for product safety. In 2006, Radiesse was also approved by the FDA, the American Regulatory Authority. Most recently, Radiesse is the first facial filler to receive US-FDA approval for Hand augmentation. Radiesse has more than 250 publications and is proven to be safe and effective.
How soon will my skin show signs of rejuvenation after Radiesse?
  • Generally, the volumization and wrinkle effect will be visible immediately after injection. Radiesse Lidocaine works to lift and define key areas around the lower face for an overall smoother appearance. By stimulating your body’s own natural collagen, the effects of the skin quality improvement by Radiesse will continue over time.
How long do the effects of Radiesse last?
